Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 2 cups imitation crab meat shredded
  • 1 cup Japanese mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce optional for spice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup furikake Japanese rice seasoning
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 sheet nori seaweed, cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and let it heat up.
  • Layer the Rice: Spread the cooked sushi rice evenly in a baking dish. Sprinkle half of the furikake seasoning over the rice for added flavor.
  • Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded imitation crab meat, Japanese mayonnaise, softened cream cheese, and sriracha (if you like it spicy). Mix until well combined.
  • Add the Filling: Spread the crab mixture evenly over the rice layer in the baking dish.
  • **Top with Cheese**: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and the remaining furikake over the crab mixture.
  • Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, golden, and bubbly.
  • 7.Garnish: Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly. Top with strips of nori and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for extra crunch and flavor.
  • Serve: Scoop portions onto plates or bowls and serve with soy sauce on the side. Enjoy warm!
